CASO Launched By Forces in Shopian Area

December  14 The Government Forces on Friday launched a cordon and search operation in Shermal area of South Kashmir’s Shopian District. Sources told The Kashmiriyat that on Friday, the forces including 44 RR of Indian Army  sealed all the entry and exit points to the Shermal area. Locals told The Kashmiriyat that a heavy contingent of forces reached this Shopian locality and are conducting a massive search operation in the orchards in the area. A search operation was going on when this report was being filed.  Shermal pertinently is the native of slain Saddam Padder, Wasim Shah and seven other slain Militants. (The Kashmiriyat).

December  12 The Government Forces on Wednesday launched another cordon and search operation in Trenz area of South Kashmir’s Shopian District. Sources told The Kashmiriyat that on Wednesday Wednesday, the forces including 44 RR of Indian Army, Jammu Kashmir Police sealed all the entry and exit points to the Trenz area. Locals told The Kashmiriyat that a heavy contingent of forces reached this Shopian locality and are conducting a search operation in the area. A search operation was going on when this report was being filed.  Pertinently this is the third CASO of the day, a day after four Cops were shot dead in Zainapora area of Shopian. Sources told The Kashmiriyat that on Wednesday, the forces including 44 RR of Indian Army, Jammu Kashmir Police sealed all the entry and exit points to the Derpora area. Locals told The Kashmiriyat that a heavy contingent of forces reached this Shopian locality and are conducting a search operation in the area. A search operation was going on when this report was being filed.  Pertinently another CASO is going on in Malikgund, a day after four Cops wers shot dead in Zainapora area of Shopian. Four Policemen killed in Shopian, Assault Rifles Snatched

December 11 Four policemen have been killed in a militant attack in Zainapora area of South Kashmir's Shopian District. A police source said that three policemen were killed in an attack carried out by militants on police guarding minority in Zainapora area of Shopian district on Tuesday. Sources told The Kashmiriyat that one policemen was also injured in the attack and he has been shifted to the nearby hospital for treatment who later succumbed to his injuries. December 09 Shabir Khan A few days ago, the photo of a teen age boy joining Militant ranks and carrying an AK 47 on his shoulder had surfaced on the social media. The photo was of a 15 year old boy, Mudasir Bilal Parray from the Mir Mohalla area of Hajin in North Kashmir's Bandipora District. December 04 The Locals of Sugan area in South Kashmir's Shopian District have accused the Government Forces of vandalization in the locality during nocturnal raids. Locals from the area told The Kashmiriyat that forces barged into several houses in Ustadpora area of Sugan and smashed the window panes and the doors of the houses. They said that the forces also assaulted many civilians mercilessly in the dark of the night inside their houses.
