An army soldier was abducted by unknown gunmen at Qazipora area in Chadoora area of central Kashmir’s Budgam district on Friday late evening.
Sources told The Kashmiriyar that an Army soldier identified Mohammad Yaseen of JAKLI unit was abducted from his home at Qazipora by unknown gunmen.
They said that the rifleman was on leave till March 31.
Immediately, a joint team of police and army rushed to the spot to ascertain the details.
A massive search operation was launched in Qazipora, Chadoora and borders of neighboring Pulwama district.
