After getting specific inputs about its cultivation in various villages of Chitergul in South Kashmir’s Islamabad (Anantnag) a joint team including Tehsildar Shangas, SHO Uttersoo & employees of Excise department on Sunday conducted the drive against the Charas /Bang cultivation & destroyed it with latest tools.
The Tehsildar Shangas Zahid Ahmed speaking to The Kashmiriyat advised the people of Chaklipora, Kachmula & Brariangan to destroy the cultivation of Charas/Bang by their own otherwise they will be charged under law.
He also appealed to the civil society to play a vital role in destroying the cultivation of Charas/Bhang to make our society Charas free.
