The body of a newborn covered with dust was recovered outside Sub District Hospital Tral in south Kashmir’s Pulwama district on Thursday morning.
Sources told The Kashmiriyat that a lifeless body of an infant girl was found by Locals near the gate of SDH in Tral.
The body initially unidentified was claimed by a woman belonging to Bathnoor area of Tral after hue and cry from Locals.
“My daughter was seven months pregnant who fell down and got injured. We took her to the hospital where her baby died,” the woman said.
