Four Militants slain in the Pulwama’s Lassipora during an encounter have been identified as Locals, however officials are yet to confirm their identity.
Militants on Monday morning had opened fire on troopers who had laid siege around the Lassipora belt in South Kashmir’s Pulwama District .

The cordon continued for nearly two to three hours, during which the hiding Militants opened fire on the troopers triggering an encounter, All the entry and exit points of the area have been sealed by the Forces.
Sources identified the Slain Militants as ,Tawseef Ahmad Pal of Lassipora (LET), Zaffar Ahmad Pal of Dangarpura Shopian, Aaqib Ah Kumar of Hillow imam sahab Shopian and Mohammed Shafi bhat of Sedow Shopian.

Tawseef Ahmed as per Sources was the commander of Lashkar e Taiba for Pulwama District.
The Officials however have not confirmed the identity of the slain Militants yet, but their bodies have been recovered from the site of the encounter.
