Hizb Planning to Shift Base from South to North Kashmir- Agencies

The Militant outfit Hizbul Mujahideen is now shifting focus from South to North Kashmir. So far, their base has been South Kashmir, but after the Operation All Out and the heavy casualty the group has suffered, the Militant group, as per a report is planning to shift its base to North Kashmir.

According to Intelligence Agencies of India, Hizbul is working on North Kashmir for two purposes. First, drawing more North Kashmir youth to Join Militancy and secondly, providing local support to the Militants who cross from other side of the border.

More than 250 Militants are active in Kashmir and most of them are operational in South Kashmir. Of these, nearly 75 percent of the Militants are local.

In the interrogation with a Hizbul militant recently caught from North Kashmir, it was revealed in a way that Hizbul is now in an effort to take the recruit more youth in areas like Kupwara, Bandipora and Gurez.

Since Pakistani terrorists mostly infiltrate from North Kashmir so Hizb is planning to draw more support for the Militants over there.

According to the reports of Intelligence Agencies, the violation of the Ceasefire is also done by the Pakistani army so that the insurgents can easily penetrate into Kashmir.
