Hurriyat Calls for a Two Day Shutdown in the Kashmir Valley

The separatist leadership has called for a two day shutdown across the Kashmir valley to protest the raids by NIA in Kashmir.

National Investigation Agency on Tuesday raided the houses of nine separatist leaders in the Kashmir valley including that of Geelani’s son and the chairman of JKLF, Mohammed Yasin Malik.

The Hurrriyat leadership immediately after the raids called for a complete shutdown for two days to protest the NIA raids and the attempts to tinker special status of Jammu Kashmir.

in a statement, the Hurriyat asked the people to observe a shutdown on Wednesday and Thursday to protest the raids by NIA on the houses of Hurriyat leaders.
