JKCSCC Calls for Complete shutdown on August 27

August 11

The Jammu Kashmir civil society coordination committee (JKCSCC) has called for a complete shutdown on August 27 against the attempts to abrogate the special status of Jammu Kashmir.

“Safeguarding Article-35A is our responsibility. Every citizen of Jammu Kashmir, irrespective of caste and religion is ready to give up his life to defend the special status of Kashmir,” JKCSCC leader Mufti Nisar-ul-Islam said while addressing a Press conference in Srinagar.

Pertinently the Supreme court of India has deferred the hearing on Article 35 A to August 27, a day after the conclusion of Annual Amarnath Yatra.
