A girl who was missing from her home found dead on Thursday from a canal in Kangan area of Central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district.
Sources told The Kashmiriyat that the body of 20-year-old Rabiya Bano of Woodar Kangan was recovered from a canal.
Police have taken cognizance of the incident and started investigations, he said.
The body of the deceased was handed over to her family for last rites after medico-legal formalities, said the official.
