An encounter has started between Militants and Government Forces in the Hafoo, Reshipora area of Tral in South Kashmir’s Pulwama District on Tuesday morning.
Officials told The Kashmiriyat that 42 RR of Indian Army, SOG of Jammu Kashmir Police and 180 CRPF jointly launched the Anti Militancy operation.
Earlier Forces had launched a Cordon and Search Operation in the area upon receiving a specific input about the presence of Militants in the area, Sources told The Kashmiriyat.

The holed up Militants opened fire upon the forces triggering an encounter.
One Army man has been injured in the initial exchange of gunfire.
2-3 Local Militants are believed to be trapped in a residential house in the Reshipora area, Local sources told The Kashmiriyat.
