Police Meets Public in Ganderbal

To bridge the gap between Police and Public, Police community Partnership Group (PCPG) meeting was held at Police Post Gutlibagh today.

The meeting was headed by DySP HQRs Aashiq Hussain JKPS, in which a number of responsible and respectable citizens of the area participated.

“The focus of the meeting remained community policing and co operative work to curb the social evils.” a statement issued to Valley Online reads.

“Dysp HQRs emphasised on moral responsibilities on individual level and also described the role of police” it adds.

The objective of policing is incomplete without the co operation of responsible individuals.

The participants have also raised some social issues which were assured by DySp HQRs that issues pertaining to Police will be redressed in shortest possible time and rest will be taken up on priority.

DySP HQRs requested public to extend their co operation for maintenance of peace and tranquillity in the area and also requested the public to co operate in eradication of social evils.
