A Special Police Officer (SPO) was arrested on Wednesday for allegedly stealing the cattle at Zarkan area in south Kashmir’s Shopian district.
A police official said that Jahangir Ahmad Wani of Balpora was arrested by local residents and later handed over to the police.
Wani, according to the official, was caught in Zarkan village while he was trying to steal the cattle from the area.
