Following the exchange of gunfire between the armies of India and Pakistan along the Line of control in Kashmir, that divides Kashmir between India and Pakistan the District Magistrate Poonch has ordered that all Schools of Kerni Sector.
As per the official notice all schools have been advised to shut down on Thursday following the violation of ceasefire by Pakistan after firing with small arms followed by Shelling with Mortars.
Officials on the Indian side claimed that Pakistan had violated the ceasefire along the Kerni sector to which Indian Army responded befittingly.
