Unidentified male body found in Srinagar

An unidentified male body was found lying near Rambagh area of Srinagar on Sunday morning, officials said. An official told the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) that an unidentified male dead body has been spotted near Rambagh area of Srinagar on Sunday morning, by locals who accordingly informed the police. Night temp rises, MeT says ‘no significant’ weather activity expected in J&K till March 27

While weatherman ruled out any significant weather activity till March 27 evening, night temperature recorded an increase with mercury settling above sub-zero level in Jammu and Kashmir including Gulmarg and Pahalgam on Sunday. KPDCL suspends 15 more employees, initiates disciplinary proceedings

The Kashmir Power Development Corporation Limited (KPDCL) Saturday suspended its fifteen more employees and initiated disciplinary proceedings against them. According to the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), Managing Director KPDCL and its administrative official in this regard has issued 15 suspension orders against its employees. The suspension and disciplinary proceedings have been initiated against ten Linemen and other meter readers and technicians. Govt orders cease on private practice by doctor in Kashmir

The Government has ordered a cease on private practice by Dr. Ishtiyaq Abdullah, Assistant Professor, Department of Orthopaedics, Government Medical College, Baramulla anywhere in Jammu Kashmir. “Based on the findings of State Anti Fraud Unit (SAFU) regarding violations of Standard Treatment Guidelines (STGs) of State Health Agency, J&K and other standing instructions, it is hereby ordered that Dr. Ishtiyaq Abdullah, Assistant Professor, Department of Orthopaedics, Government Medical College, Baramulla shall, with immediate effect, cease to indulge in any private practice across the Union Territory of Jammu & Kashmir,” Secretary to government, H&ME department Dr Syed Abid Rasheed Shah said order, a copy of which lies with GNS. JKSCERT postpones exam of all papers of 8th Class except for English subject
