Two Militants have been killed in an ongoing encounter that raged between militants and Government forces at Memander area in South Kashmir’s Shopian District.
Officials told The Kashmiriyat that 23 Para of Indian Army, CRPF and Jammu Kashmir Police after receiving inputs about Militant presence in the area laid a cordon and search operation in the area.
While conducting the operation, the Militants opened fire upon the forces, they said.
In the ensuing gunfight, two unidentified Militants have been killed.
