The Jammu Kashmir Police on Friday morning said that two Militants have killed in an encounter with Government Forces in Braw Bathan area pf Sangam in South Kashmir’s Pulwama District.
A Police official told The Kashmiriyat that 55 Rashtriya Rifles of Indian Army, Jammu Kashmir Police and CRPF jointly launched a search operation in the Braw area of Sangam, during which Militants opened fire on the party of Government Forces, triggering an encounter.
During this exchange of gunfire, two Militants were killed, the identity of whom has not been verified as of yet.
Police also claimed that collateral damage was minimized during the encounter, after which bodies of two Slain Militants were recovered, The Police have also asked people to stay away from the site of the encounter.
Sources however said that a house was damaged during the encounter.
