One Militant has been killed in the ongoing gunfighit in Panzan area of Chadoora in Budgam District of Jammu Kashmir on Thursday.
Officials told The Kashmiriyat The Forces including 53 RR, Jammu Kashmir Police and CRPF laid a joint operation in Paznan area of Chadoora in Budgam and cordoned off the locality.
They said the militants holed up in the area opened fire upon the forces, triggering a gunfight.
As per initial reports, two to three Militants are believed to be trapped in the area, the authorities are likely to suspend the Mobile internet Services.
Meanwhile youth in large numbers have gathered near the encounter site and are throwing stones on the troopers shouting pro Militancy and Pro Freedom slogans.
The troopers fired tear smoke shells to disperse the protesters, however people from nearby areas are also marching towards the encounter site, Locals told The Kashmiriyat.
One Local Militant has been killed at the encounter site, so far and the firing is still on.
