The Army on Tuesday claimed to have recovered a bag with arms and ammunition in the border area of northern region of Kashmir.
An official told The Kashmiriyat that on late Monday night during a patrolling by 6 JAK RIF and Jammu and Kashmir Police found a bag with arms and ammunition at Gundi Shath near road side in Tithwal Kupwara.
The officer while sharing details of recoveries to TNN which including Pistol 9 MM (5), Pistol Mag (10), RDs (138), Gren (05), Biscuits (2 pkt).
Meanwhile, a police officer told TNN that a case FIR Number 78/2020U/S 7/25 IA act stands registered at police station Titwal and further investigation has been initiated.
