April 27 The Government Forces on Saturday morning launched Cordon and Search operation (CASO) in Heff Shermal area of Zainapora in South Kashmir's Shopian District. Sources told The Kashmiriyat that a search operation has been launched by 44 Rahstriya Rifles, Jammu Kashmir Police and  CRPF jointly in Heff area. Forces Assault Youth During CASO in Shopian Area

April 22 Skinder Gul The Government forces on Monday morning thrashed several youth during a cordon and search operation launched in the Avend- Rawalpora area of South Kashmir's Shopian Distrct. Sources told The Kashmiriyat that one youth has suffered serious injuries after he was allegedly thrashed by forces during a cordon and search operation launched by 34 RR of Indian Army, 18 BN of CRPF and Jammu Kashmir Police jointly. April 15 In a shocking incident that has collectively shamed Kashmir, after a girl from north Kashmir took her own life on Saturday after being raped by her own father for several years, the sister of the victim has gone on record to reveal horrific details in the case. 2 Militants Reportedly Killed in Shopian encounter

April 13 Two Militants have been killed in the encounter between militants and Government forces at Guhand area of South Kashmir’s Shopian District. Sources told The Kashmiriyat that on Saturday morning 34 RR of Indian Army, CRPF and Jammu Kashmir Police after receiving inputs about Militant presence in the area laid a cordon and search operation in the area. The cordon continued for nearly two to three hours, during which the hiding Militants opened fire on the troopers triggering an encounter. All the entry and exit points of the area were sealed by the Forces immediately. In the ensuing gunfight, two unidentified Militants were killed, Sources told The Kashmiriyat. Mobile internet services have been barred in this South Kashmir District.

April 11 The Locals in Sugan area of Zainapora of South Kashmir's Shopian District have accused the Government Forces of vandalism in the locality during nocturnal raids. Locals from the area told The Kashmiriyat that forces barged into the house of an active Militant Sameer Ahmed Seh in the Herpora area of Sugan and thrashed his brother without any provocation.
