Two Militants arrested in South Kashmir, Claims Police

November 14 Police on Wednesday claimed to have apprehended two militants affiliated with Hizb Ul Mujahideen at Awantipora area of south Kashmir’s Pulwama district. Officials said that they had received inputs that there is movement of militants in Dugripora Panzgam area “Working on which a joint naka was established at Panzgam railway underpass by 55 RR, Awantipora Police and 185 CRPF late Tuesday evening,” he said. “At around 9.30 pm two persons were spotted going towards Panzgam who were asked to stop but they ran towards village Dugripora. The duo was chased and apprehended.” The officer said that upon their search one UBGL thrower, two hand grenades and some ammunition of AK series was recovered. Unidentified Persons Stab Pulwama Civilian

November 12 Unidentified persons on Sunday night barged into the residential house at Nowpora Payeen area of South Kashmir's Pulwama and stabbed him an inmate. Sources told The Kashmiriyat that a 30-year-old man identified as Shabir Ahmad Ganie was stabbed in his stomach by unidentified men in Nowpora Payeen area of Pulwama district. November 11 Nawaz Gull The presence of walnut trees in the school compound has been posing a threat to students of Government middle school at Dar Ganie Gund Village of Aripal Tehsil of Tral Sub-district in South Kashmir Pulwama.
