April 20 After protests by students accross the Kashmir valley to demand justice for the 8 year old rape victim, the authorities in Kashmir have decided to suspend Classwork in many parts of the valley. Read the district wise list below:- The classwork in Degree Colleges and Higher Secondary Schools of Islamabad town and Bijbehara Town shall remain suspended tomorrow on 21st April. Sp College, Women’s College erupts Over Shopian Killings

April 05 SP Higher Secondary, Kothibagh and Women’s College in Srinagar held protests against the killings of 13 militants and four civilians in Shopian on Sunday last. "The Students hit the streets to demand an end to the killing spree in Kashmir," a student told The Kashmiriyat. The students in large numbers shouted pro Independence and Pro Islam slogans, the students said.
