On Thursday afternoon an exchange of gunfire took place between Militants and Government Forces in the Parigam area of South Kashmir’s Pulwama area.
Officials told The Kashmiriyat that RR of Indian Army, Jammu Kashmir Police and CRPF jontly launched a cordon and search operation in the Pulwama area tracing an input about Militant movement.
The exchange of fire took place after the holed up Militants fired a rounds of bullets towards the Government Forces who retaliated.
As per the locals, an intermittent exchange of gunfire is on.
