Gloom Prevails as South Kashmir Shuts for the 6th Day

The Southern part of Kashmir including Pulwama, Kulgam, Shopian and Islamabad has shut down for the sixth consecutive day to mourn the Shopian Killings.

Parts of Islamabad town had open yesterday, however most of the localities including the Dialgam belt, Kokernag Belt observed a complete shutdown while as Shopian, Pulwama and Kulgam were completely shut.

The Kashmiriyat was informed that traffic is off the roads, while business establishments are also shut.

The Government has also suspended classwork in educational institutes while as railway services have also been suspended.

Hundreds of people are still visiting the houses of Slain Militants and civilians in Shopian District of South Kashmir.
