Pulwama Killing- Schools, Business Establishments and Train Services Closed

Classwork has been suspended in various educational institutes of South Kashmir’s Pulwama District following the killing of a 26 year old youth, Fayaz Ahmed Wani.

Officials told The Kashmiriyat that the educational institutes have been closed down for the day (Tuesday) as a precautionary measure.

Meanwhile the people of Pulwama have shut down their shops and other business establishments to protest the killing of Fayaz at the hands of Government Forces.

Sources told The Kashmiriyat that amid a complete shutdown forces have been deployed at various places to prevent any protests.

Meanwhile train services have been suspended from Banihal to Srinagar after the youth was shot dead.

Fayaz Ahmed Wani of Chewakalan area of South Kashmir’s Pulwama was hit with a bullet during protests at Gusoo village when he was on the way to work.

He was rushed to the hospital, however he succumbed, hundreds of women and men attended his last rites at his native in Chewakalan.
