Roshni Act will be restored if DPAP is voted to power: Saroori

Democratic Progressive Azad Party (DPAP) senior leader and Lok Sabha candidate from Udhampur constituency, Ghulam Mohammad Saroori, emphasized the party’s commitment to serve the people’s interests, stating, “The DPAP will reinstate the Roshni Act if elected to power.”

GM Saroori highlighted that DPAP’s founding principle is to provide relief to the people of Jammu and Kashmir, who have suffered due to the political maneuvers of anti-people parties. He stressed that beyond divisive religious politics, DPAP will prioritize development and alleviate the challenges faced by the region’s residents.

“People are disillusioned with the BJP’s politics and the previous administrations in JK. Candidates contesting from Jammu and Udhampur seats have held MP positions for a decade without addressing people’s needs. As a new candidate, I aspire to serve, offering a viable alternative in these times,” stated DPAP leader GM Saroori.

He assured that DPAP will uphold religious tolerance and refrain from stoking communal tensions. “We advocate for elections based on development agendas. Our foremost objective is the restoration of J&K’s statehood and the protection of land rights for local residents,” he added.

Saroori underscored the alarming rise in unemployment in JK over recent years, which has pushed youth towards despair and substance abuse.
