Massive Fire Engulfs Kulgam Area, 3 Residential Houses Damaged

July 02 Two Residents Houses were partially and one completely damaged when massive fire engulfed the Sheikh Mohallah area in Bongam area of South Kashmir's Kulgam District on Monday morning. Locals told The Kashmiriyat that the house of one Mohammed Yusuf Sheikh from the locality was completely gutted in the fire. People and fire services tried to doze off the fire, but not before it has damaged three residential houses in the Kulgam area. The immediate reason of the fire could not be known. Mohammed Yusuf Sheikh while speaking to The Kashmiriyat demanded compensation from the Government as he has been forced to stay outdoors.

At least 48 people killed in Utarakhand road Accident

July 01 At least 48 people were killed after a bus fell down into a 60-metre deep gorge in Uttarakhand on Sunday.
