Skinder Gull One youth died while as two others were injured in a road accident in Litter area of south Kashmir’s Pulwama district Locals told The Kashmiriyat that on Thursday morning a car aruti with registration no JK01A-3585 collided with a motorcycle bearing registration no PB36G-2431 resulting in critical injuries to three persons. The injured were shifted to the nearby hospital in Pulwama for treatment, while as one of them identified as Yonis Ahmed Tantray, a resident of Naina area in sangam of Pulwama district succumbed to his injuries. Two others are being treated at the district hospital Pulwama. The Jammu Kashmir Police has registereda case in this regard and further investigation has been launched.

Locals told The Kashmiriyat that a youth identified as Irfan Ahmad Trag, son of Mohammad Ayoub Trag on Wednesday afternoon was grievously injured when he fell down from a walnut tree. An encounter has started between Militants and Government Forces in Babhara area of South Kashmir Pulwama district, this is the second encounter of the day. A Police official said that on Friday afternoon, 55RR of Indian Army, CRPF, and Jammu Kashmir Police, after receiving inputs about Militant presence laid a cordon and search operation in the area. Sources told The Kashmiriyat that the cordon continued for nearly an hour, during which the hiding militants opened fire on the troopers triggering an encounter. Three Militants have been killed in ane encounter between Government forces and militants in Zadoora area of Pulwama district on Saturday morning.
