In view of the ongoing encounter in Naina, Pulwama, Authorities on Thursday suspended train service between Banihal to Budgam on Thurday.
Official sources said that the gunfight is close to Panzgam station and the services would resume once the gunfight was over.
The train route also passes through Naina, Batpora in Pulwama.
Meanwhile, Police have said that one unidentified militant has been killed in the encounter.
Earlier internet services were suspended in the Litter belt of Pulwama and Zainapora belt of Shopian.
