The Jammu Kashmir on Thursday said that the Militants are trapped inside a mosque in the Naina area of Pulwama’s Litter belt where an encounter is going on between militants and Government forces.
One militant has been killed in the encounter so far, official said, adding, “the militant remains to be identified.”
“Two #terrorists were holed up in a structure separate from the mosque. We have taken every precaution to ensure that no damage happens to the mosque. One terrorist has been neutralised. #Operation in progress: IGP Kashmir,” the Jammu Kashmir Police tweeted.
Earlier internet services were suspended in several areas and train services suspended in view of the encounter.
