Jaish Module Busted in Awantipora- Four OGWs Arrested

April 29 Police today claimed to have busted a Jaish-e-Muhamad militant module involved in throwing grenades at security forces and planting improvised explosive devices (IEDs) by arresting four militants. The police in a statement said that Awantipora Police arrested four persons involved in various militant activities inn Tral and Awantipora area. "One Murtaza of Amlar Tral was arrested on specific input and 01 Chinese Pistol with 02 Magazines and 08 Pistol rounds were recovered from his possession. 1 Vote Polled Out of 2504 in Uranhall in Kulgam

April 29 One vote has been polled out of 2504 total votes in  the Uranhall area of Hom Shalibugh assembly segment of the Kulgam district in South Kashmir till 12 noon. Officials told The Kashmiriyat that out of 1059 votes in Uranhall-1 polling booth one vote has been cast, while in Uranhall-B, zero votes have been polled out of 768 and similarly in Uranhall C, zero votes have been cast out of total 768 votes. Polling Booths Shifted from Various Kulgam Areas- Fresh Clashes Reported from Several Areas

April 28 In anticipation of clashes, the administration has shifted some pooling booths from various areas of South Kashmir's district of Kulgam on Sunday evening. Official Sources told The Kashmiriyat that the polling booth in Kulgam's Bugam has been shifted to Kharmadpora as Bugam has been one of the most volatile zones post the killing of Burhan wani in July 2016. Earlier during the 2014 Assembly polls, the area witnessed a negligible voter turnout. Similarly in Zazripora/ Awgam the polling booth has been Keharwat area of South Kashmir's Kulgam Districts. Sources told The Kashmiriyat that suspected Militants on Sunday night hurled a grenade towards a polling booth located in Mirwani area of Devsar in South Kashmir's Kulgam district. As per initial reports nobody has been injured in this attack. A Search operation has been launched in the area to nab the attackers.
