April 26 Intense clashes erupted in Ashmuji area of Quimoh in South Kashmir's Kulgam District on Friday evening as the Polling officials reached the area to set up a polling booth in the area. Locals told The Kashmiriyat that hundreds of youth shouting pro independence and Anti India Slogans attacked the polling party which included CRPF and Army men as well with stones asking them to go back from the area. April 24 Addressing party workers convention at Circuit House in Shopian, Mehbooba claimed that PDP took a lead against their opponents in the first phase of polling for Anantnag parliamentary constituency. April 19 Suspected militants on Friday afternoon hurled a grenade on Police station at Damhal Hanjipora area in south Kashmir’s Kulgam district. April 16 Following specific inputs about Militant movement, The Government Forces on Tuesday evening launched Cordon and Search operation (CASO) in Yamrach locality of Yaripora area of South Kashmir's Kulgam District. April 15 The Cavalcade of Former chief Minister of Jammu Kashmir, Mehbooba Mufti was stoned by youth on the way to Bijbehara in South Kashmir's Islamabad (anantnag) district. Sources told The Kashmiriyat today that Mehbooba Mufti early morning on Saturday paid salutations at Khiram Dargah and while she was on the way to address a workers conventions Some persons threw stones on her cavalcade. Mehbooba escaped unhurt but one of her escort vehicle was damaged in the stone throwing incident, Sources said.
