One Month After his Family Appealed him to Return Home, Faisal’s Dead Body Reaches Home

One of the Militant slain in the encounter that raged earlier in Kachwan area of South Kashmir’s Islamabad (Anantnag) district has been identified as Faisal Nazir who had joined Militancy a month back.

Two days after the killing of Local Militant, Burhan Ganie, on 25 April,  Faisal from Islamabad (anantnag) township in South Kashmir has posed with an Ak 47 suggesting that he has joined Militancy.

Sources told The Kashmiriyat that Faisal Nazir Mir son of Nazir Ahmed Mir, a resident of Nai Basti area in South Kashmir’s Islamabad (Anantnag) District has joined the dreaded Militant outfit Jaish e Muhammad.

Locals from Nai Basti told The Kashmiriyat that Faisal had left home earlier jn April amid a rise in Local Militancy.

He was the fifth youth from this small township to have joined Militancy, the first one was Yawar Nisar Wagay, who was killed on 04 August 2017, 17 days after he joined Militancy.

A few days, later his mother with wet eyes appealed their son to return home, however few days later, he rejected the appeal of his family saying he had joined the “path of truth.”

Pertinently his father is a Policemen working as a constable with Jammu Kashmir Police.

Thousands of people have gathered in the Nai Basti Locality to attend his funeral amid a ban on Mobile Internet services in this south Kashmir district.
